Satisfaction Rating

Really enjoyable camp experience. We were in a secluded tent spot for the majority of our stay and it was peaceful hanging out with the birds. I saw about 20 species just sitting at my site! There was an incident with another family's dogs getting loose and even though it was after office hours, the owners came by to help and everything was fine.

We have been to Aspen Acres three times now and we will definitely be back. The campground is beautiful with lots of trees, grassy areas, a kid's playground and a dog park area. It is very well maintained and the staff is super friendly and helpful! There is no cell serviceand the only internet is at the office area but this is one of the things we live about this campground. A place to get away! Lake Isabel is just down the road and it is beautiful as well with lots of space to fish, a trail and you can use non motorized water craft. Bishop's Castle is just down the road the other direction from the lake and if you haven't been you should at least go once. All this to say that the campground is a great place to go and there are plenty of things to do nearby.
