We loved our stay. The campground was well maintained and we loved that we could walk to the beach.

Great campground with an amazing access to Lake Michigan! 🤘🏼

Excellent location and smaller in size.

Beautiful views and access to Lake Michigan, Camp spots were big and spacious, the public access beach parking lot was convenient to unload paddle boards and windsurf boards. Overall beautiful campground and we’ll definitely come back.

The campground itself was great. We loved the secluded feel and peacefulness of the area. The bathrooms and the showers were nice and clean (always a plus when camping!) One thing that could be better is a designated place to wash dishes. We were on the opposite end of the campground from the office and lugging a plastic tip with water to wash dishes was a workout in itself. Overall we would definitely come back.

Buttersville is amazing

I love this campground. Lots of trees and Lake Michigan is right there. Staff is helpful and nice. I’ve met so many nice fellow campers.

Great spot, great view, no issues at all! Wish we could have been in the area longer.

We will be back to enjoy more then one night! I'm glad we made it for sunset on the beach because it was majestic. Friendly folks and respectful campers, great location, a very relaxing stay.

The WiFi reception here is bad. Both AT&T and T-Mobile are spotty at best. I'm talking about T-Mobile and AT&T mobile plans, not the official "campground WiFi". Major carriers like T-Mobile, ATT and Verizon just don't send their signals that far west toward Michigan Lake. No a complaint, just fact. Most people at this camp ground aren't there to work via wifi. But if you want good wifi, this isn't the camp ground for you

Small quaint campground on the shores of beautiful lake Michigan. Family and pet friendly. Bathrooms and showers could use an update and expansion.

Second year that we’ve been here! Planning on being back next year. We love the beach area.

Great facilities, beach access is one of the prettiest we’ve seen at a campground. The hosts were wonderful and the park was clean and had lots to do for the kids. The showers were also the best yet we’ve encountered camping. We would spend weeks there and be happy for sure!
