We love Lake Camanche even in the rain!

Monument RV park is our favorite camping location. Clean, friendly staff and love the Trout Pond.

We enjoy coming here. Always a good time.

Family birthday celebration

Great quiet stay, really good service, lots bathroom, showers, lots of recycle , garbage cans easily available. When I booked the site I had a tuff time being able to interpret adjacent campsites that were close to planned sold out group sites. So I called, no one called be back until a few days later when we were on route to lake .Comanche. I did get a very honest in-depth voice mail that offered callback assistance & apology for getting back so late.

The RV park is not kept up, the fire pits are not cleaned out , the trees are overgrown, the hook ups are missing parts , it is next to impossible to get anyone on the phone for help. really gone downhill

Love the lake and walking trails.

I think the fall is the perfect time of year for camanche. Not as busy as the summer and not as hot

Went up for the opening of the trout pond. Let’s just say it was well, not as accessible as expected. The overgrown Shoreline extremely limits accessibility for those with limited mobility. That in combination with the day used people coming into the campground side of the pond, those was with limited mobility. Get cut off to any open areas that may be accessible The staff itself amazingly kind, especially being under the criticism of many disappointed Anglers From the store at South Shore to the gate, it was pleasant and welcoming Yes, I’ll try to go back soon

Horrible. We were evicted on our last day because my husband had to cut a few little branches down from the tree above our motorhome so the slide outs wouldn’t pull the branches down when we closed it. Someone must’ve seen him do it and told the front desk, so a ranger came by and evicted us without any warning. Nowhere in the terms and conditions that I signed before checking in to the campsite had that noted as an evictable offense. Apparently there are other policies online that were not part of what I signed. We have three little kids and we’re forced to pack up and be out of there within two hours. We were already on the fence about going back because of all the new policies they have in place and now I will not support them anymore. The Ranger was also very rude and seemed to not even care and showed no compassion even with my 3 kids screaming since we were trying to pack.

As always the camp sites were clean and the staff is great. The put on a nice Trunk or Treat, Haunted House and Movie nite for the kids.

We love staying at the Monument RV Park and back up to the Trout Pond. The park is clean and well-maintained.

It was great and staff was great

Riverview showers are terrible,! the women’s showers are cold and have no water pressure, no shower heads. No place to set down your dry stuff so they don’t get wet. A couple of benches would be great in there. This is our 4th year at this campground and the showers have not improved! A little attention to this detail will go a long way with your campers. Please address this Lake Camanche Management!
