Really nice spot, would have gave it 5 stars. Fire pit is full of ashes, bathrooms need to be updated and things fixed

A lot of garbage. Grill was with beer bottles and somebody left inside the fireplace broke grill. The lake is beautiful but garbage everywhere. 3 star only because the lake is beautiful.

It was earily quiet and not crowded at all. Probably off season, no floats on the lake and no alcohol policy that ends on 10/1. Weird. Can't drink alcohol until 10/1 at the lake..Strangest policy ever. Love this place though.

It was our first time here. It was nice. Only reason for 3 stars is because there are 3 showers but only 1 shower in service. There was another person there who said that this was her 3rd time coming to Lake Camanche and still other 2 shower out of order. We waited in the line for about 35-40 minutes. Bathrooms were stocked most part. People left there clothes wet clothes in the shower and stalls. Looks like they clean 1-2 times a day. Friendly staff. Visited the Marina shop, friendly staff there. Store was clean and had things needed to fish and small items you may have forgotten. Closest store about 10-13 mins drive out. Swimming water was clear. Clean lake. Our kids loved the fishing although they caught 2 small fishes but they loved it.

We absolutely love this Lake and its amenities. Although it’s a “dry” camping location and currently you can’t take any boats, etc into the water, we still had a wonderful time. The shore was full of everyone taking floaties, etc into the water, so they aren’t very strict. I would recommend this facility to everyone.

This is a nice campground, with lots of full hookup spots close to the water. Due to potential mussel infestation to the lake, no boats, floats, or other equipment was allowed on the lake. There were a lot of "CAN'T DOs," such as no alcohol, no wading pools, no fires--however, no-one seemed to be policing any activity, since other than the lake being empty, we saw lots of activities happening throughout the park. Attendance at the park was sparse, and there were no activities. When I went to the area allocated for day use--on a Saturday--it was like a ghost town. The laundry room only offered two washers and dryers, and one was in use when I went to use it. With the size of the park, I expected them to have at least six of each. The staff was friendly, but I only saw them at the entrance gate.
