Camped mountain side. The views are beautiful. The sites are large and pretty level. There are no facilities on the mountain, just campers and a few cabins.

Upcoming Events

  • Camp Store

    May 8 - October 13

If you forgot it...we probably got it! Our camp store is open from May to October, and it’s packed with everything you never knew you needed—until now. Drinks? Check. Food? Absolutely. Ice cream and candy? Of course, because calories don’t count in the woods. We’ve got ice, firewood, beer (yes, beer), knives, and enough survival gear to make Bear Grylls jealous. Want to skip the last-minute scramble? Pre-purchase your firewood and s’mores kits when you book. Because the only thing you should be hunting for out here is marshmallow sticks.

  • Star Gazing

    May 8 - October 13

Experience the breathtaking beauty of the night skies at our campground—home to some of the best stargazing in the White Mountains region of NH. On clear nights, venture out from your campsite, bring a blanket and make your way to the beach area by the pond or the far end past the Mountain View Sites to fully immerse yourself in the cosmic display above. Lay out a blanket and let the brilliance of the stars sweep you away. Don't miss the chance to bask in the magic of a star-lit night!

  • Bicycle Decorating Days

    July 1 - July 7

Stars, Stripes, and Sparkly Bikes! Hey kids! This 4th of July, it’s time to turn your bicycles into the coolest, craziest rides in the campground! Grab some streamers, slap on some stickers, and let your imagination run wild. Want your bike to look like it just zoomed out of a fireworks show? Go for it! Want it to sparkle brighter than the campfire? We’re here for it! Decorate your wheels and get ready to cruise around in style. Who knows? You might even cause a traffic jam of pure awesome on the campground roads! So grab your gear, get creative, and let’s make those bikes shine!

  • 4th of July Site Decorating

    July 1 - July 7

Get Your Red, White, and Camp-Site Ready! This 4th of July, let’s light up the campground with more than just fireworks! We’re inviting all campers to deck out their sites in full patriotic glory. Break out the flags, string up the lights, and show off your star-spangled spirit! The more over-the-top, the better—we want Uncle Sam to be able to spot your site from space. Think your setup has what it takes to be the most patriotic plot in the park? Prove it! Bonus points if your decorations can survive the party. Get ready to sparkle, campers! America’s birthday only comes once a year—let's make it camp-tastic!

  • Deck the Halls-Site Style!

    July 17 - July 20

Don't forget the lights and garland! We want to light up the campground in Christmas lights! It's a beaut, Clark!

  • Highland Games

    September 18 - September 20

The NH Highland Games & Festival is one of the biggest and most vibrant Highland Games events in North America. This lively celebration of Scottish heritage takes place every year on the third Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of September at Loon Mountain Resort, nestled in the scenic White Mountains of New Hampshire. As iconic as bagpipes, kilts, and whisky, the Highland Games bring the spirit of Scotland to life!
