We love the campground location and the staff and the rivers and streams that surround this magical property. 4 stars because driving a travel trailer bigger than 20’ should definitely not be permitted… it was crazy stressful getting out of the site. Also, we were not renting and used our bathrooms, but the bathrooms at the campground or in desperate need of updating! We will come back, but probably stay Mountain View side & not down in the woods.

Nice site! Great location. Hiked the Mount Waternomee to B18 Bomber site. Amazing there were 5 survivors. Even though Woodstock is a short bike ride away we elected to enjoy the brook and campfire. Good food, stories and crisp cool nights. Gorgous foliage. We will come back!

Lost River is my most favorite woodland setting, out of every campground I’ve ever stayed out over the past 40+ years! It’s like sleeping on the Shire, between two babbling brooks that wash away everything else/ever. It’s only a couple minutes away from the Gorge, which feels precisely the same. I’ll definitely be back!
