Oxbow Park — Reviews

Awesome views, pleasant staff, clean facilities, and great boating. Nice having four launch recover ramps. Fishing was so so. Would be nice if roads were paved.

We stayed in cabin 2. It was nicely set up, and we were grateful for electricity and a mini fridge. However it had a strong urine smell and the ceilings and ceiling fans were caked with dust and cobwebs. I let the office know about these concerns so hopefully it gets cleaned up properly.

The staff was very friendly. Out site flooded and they provided replacement wood and lighter fluid. The buildings were all clean and the beach was nice.

For one, it was right on the lake. The campsites are plenty big which is nice even for a tent camper. The staff is amazing. Everybody that I talk to was very polite and was willing to help. Also the camp store did not price gouge like you would see in other campgrounds. I would definitely go back again

too many seasonal campers think they own the campgrond

Need a cabin key Dropbox for early morning checkouts. The cabin met our needs. We had a wonderful time.

Beautiful location with so many great water views and easy access. Clean and friendly staff. Special shout out to Courtney who was so helpful and accommodating when we ran into some issues with our site.

This park used to feel like a place they were glad you came. Now the vibe is different every time you speak with an employee it feels like they are inconvenienced. Gals at the front desk over charged me when I asked for my second vehicle pass for my lot they looked at me like I had a second head. Normally we only need the one because our truck has the seasonal pass however our truck was in the shop so we needed both passes. I ended up having to pay 16 dollars for a overnight guest pass even though we paid to camp there...... The guy walking around making sure people were doing what they were supposed to just started every conversation by yelling at people. Even the price to buy wood from them went from really reasonable to absolutely ridiculous. This used to be our favorite park and looked forward to the multiple camping weekends we had here and were even thinking about going after a seasonal lot. I'm not sure who changed but we most likely wont be back for anything other than the boat launch at this point.

The site was beautiful. The bathrooms were so clean! The staff was attentive. Amazing experience!

The stay was fine. However, I found three nails on our camping pad.
