Oxbow Park — Reviews

We wanted to camp next to our daughter on campsite one but we were told they were saving that campsite for the food truck operator. That site was not used. It was open the entire time.

We liked the park, but would have loved to see more access to recycling containers, garbage drop off near the campsite and also a place to drop off bags from our pets.

This place was AWESOME. Everyone was so friendly. The park is so beautiful and we got to see some gorgeous sunsets over the lake. We will for sure come back.

not what I expected for the price I paid

We had a great time!!!! The campgrounds for the most part was wonderful. The bathrooms right behind the office kept running out of toilet paper. But otherwise everything was great. Although this has no reflection on the campground and realize they probably can't do much about this, but there were about 4-6 kids that kept running through everyone's campsites. It wasn't that they ran on the outside edges of the sites but right through wherever they wanted to. I was reading under my awning and one ran right beside me. I know for a fact one was a child of a seasonal site and beings they others were all hanging out with him, I'm assuming they all were of seasonal sites. Otherwise we had a great time!! And will be back as soon as we're able to. Thanks! Sue

Great site at a great rate. Clean restrooms and friendly staff.

We always go here to camping and we really enjoy and the staff is very friendly and everyone.

Location and view is great, my 3rd trip in past 2 months and I have to say there is no enforcement of quiet hours and many rude drunks who think they have to entertain to 3-4AM. I got back late on last night from a ballgame 11pm, and apparently was going faster than 5MPH, to my campsite, security beat me to site (wonder what speed they weee going 😉). I was assuming they were coming up to me to see if I had a valid pass but it was to yell at me for my speed and threatened me with a citation. I only wish they were that strict on the all night noisy drunks.

Great campground! Cabins were nice and comfortable. Staff was awesome. We will definitely be back!
