Nice and quiet camp site. We enjoyed our stay

Loved the campground, and the town !!

There was no way at access the water at my site, it was underground in a pond of green scum. The sewer cap was installed upside down and could not be removed. Shower was warm at most. Not worth the price.

Small campground very quiet.

This is our second trip here. First was about 5 years ago when Billy Smithwick was still keeping it going. It’s not at all the same. Same buildings, but not cared for the same. Couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone to book but it’s automated online so we did that. Got several automated emails, checked in automated and received the door codes. They used to have a cart to bring your things to the cabin, that is gone. We rented 3 cabins for a family trip…so lots to carry. It rained, and cabin 1 was raining inside pretty steady and both platforms were wet. Couldn’t get anyone to answer the phone…but we expected that with previous attempts to call and we now have a weekend storm. Oh well! I can’t recommend unless you know it’s not going to rain. They are not cared for anymore and you can see rot and mold taking over parts of all of them now, it’s sad.

We have been going there since it was $20 in the honor box. Our first and last stop on our way to Florida or Mexico.

Quiet. Free washer and dryer. Hot clean showers. The treehouses are cabins on pilings about 30 feet up. This is in a swamp, winter is OK, summer means the bug count is incredible. Needs a dog yard and playground to be a perfect place for RVers to rest and recoup. And it's $25 a night. Some pull throughs, all stalls have full hook up. The city of Windsor owns and maintains it.

Clean, quiet campground.

This is a hidden gem in Windsor, NC. I took a group of teens for an outdoor experience, and I believe it is an experience they will never forget. They got to see billions of stars at night, canoe on the Cashie River, help build a campfire and spend time bonding at night in those wonderfully built treehouses..

Everything was great. Our crew had a great time. All of the facilities on-site were clean and well kept. We will definitely be back again.

Grand kids and family had a great time! We saw a Bald Eagle flying in the area. We enjoyed the quite time looking at the stars. The next time we will be better prepared for the cold night.

We were in pull-through site #2. This site is right next to a bamboo fence that houses the septic tank. The lid was left off during our entire stay of one week. The smell was horrible at times. The site itself was not laid out very well. If we placed our rig so our steps line up with the cement pad, our slide would be about a foot from the next sites fire pit. This site is very close to the next pull-through site. We will not return to this Park.
