All good.

Definitely no frills as in no bath house. Wiped away in the flood but descent spots with FHU. Jake brake noise is pretty loud and the entrance is pretty tricky in a bigger rig.

Location, location, location! Can’t beat the location. Besides a little “white road noise” I was pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed our stay! Will appreciate when the bath house is rebuilt, but grateful they were back open. Having the trail so accessible was great for running, biking, and getting the dogs out.

The information was misleading. There were no restrooms. There was no office, so the stated opening hours until 8:00 p.m. were also incorrect.

I understand this area recently endured a recent flood. At least update your web pages with current information on the campground . Had no bathroom or showers. Pictures and description were deceiving, good thing it was only an overnight stay.

They are recovering from hurricanes last year so no bathhouse or onsite office. Did not see onsite manager. Grass not mowed. Hiking and biking trail splits the campground. Lots of highway noise if you sit outside.

Very convenient to Asheville, full hookup, and walking trail runs right thru the middle of it. However, the campground is nestled between the river and interstate hwy 26 with semi trucks using their jake- brakes all night long.

Obviously they were impacted by the flooding last year, but to advertise a bath house and give you the code to said bathhouse when there was none really was disappointing. Add in the very difficult turn to get into the park……. Anyhow the parking pad was new and nice, just continue to keep the kudzu at bay.

Site #3 was level and wide. Lots of grass for the dog.

All the sites were level, quite large and hookups were convenient. Bath house was a bit of a walk for some but nice and clean.

3 stars bc it was fine but nothing special. Price was fair but not a lot (any) amenities. Spot was level concrete with fire ring but picnic tables were janky (wood needs to be replaced and not on level ground). By the French Broad river but also a major road so there was traffic noise. Conveniently located to get to biltmore and other parts of Asheville. Bathhouse was clean and ample. Overall it was fine and I’d recommend to someone looking for an affordable spot with no frills.

Easy river access, close to downtown.

Met our needs and was as advertised. Nothing exceptional to warrant a fifth star.

Great location and hosts! Pads are good and level. The bath house is appreciated but could be more ventilated/air conditioned. It’s lovely to be on the river and greenway, but the speeding bikes were a hazard. Maybe a big slow down sign on each end?
