Wilson's Riverfront RV Park — Reviews

The location was nice but the one space #12 was under water after a heavy rain for the entire 24 hr stay; all of the other spaces were not. Space 12 needs some grading. The campground was very difficult to access.

Clean and good location

The location was on the river and within a few miles of every thing in Ashville and a popular hike went right through the park. The site included a level cement pad, picnic table, and fire ring available. The bathhouse was newer and kept very clean. Very easy to book. The only con (really didn't bother us) is it is very close to a freeway and you can hear the traffic. We would definitely stay there again.

Level, concrete sites. If you're an outdoor person, there is a park, walkway, fishing, etc on or nearby. Little inconvenient to have to unlock bath house but for safety, very much appreciated! There are a lot of people traveling thru. Great spot to pass thru or enjoy Asheville.

Poorly maintained sites of what appear to be rent by owner RV units. Sites were both narrow and short. Noise and pedestrian traffic were anticipated but both were extreme.

Clean sites, easy hook ups, convenient location

The park’s location is great. It’s right off of I-40. The lots are spacious and you are not right on the other camp sight. The only thing that we can complain about is the bathhouse needed attention. It was a little dirty and needed cleaned. There is a walking trail that goes through the campground. We never felt threatened at all. Also, there was a race that we were not made aware of and it delayed our leaving by two hours.

Could use a little more maintenance in the rv park The noise from the freeway is really bad but nothing can be done about that. Other than that, we had a very nice stay. It was nice and clean and the other campers were all very nice

The instructions on how to get to the park were very detailed and helpful, the park was well organized and the campsites clearly marked, communication was very quick and they accomodated a change that I had to make with no problem.

Great Location and a very friendly attendant at the park. Everything worked as advertised!!

Noisy, grass was not mowed until the day before we left. Bathroom/bathhouse had hot water but was not swept, cleaned or trash emptied for the four days we were there. The river bank was so overgrown that we could not see the river (the day we left they did weed eat and mow). Sites are level and all else good. The noise from the interstate over head was a bit much but it is close to the Biltmore SO if that is why you are visiting, it is okay:

The park communication included important directions as to how to best arrive at the park. It is a small beautiful park, beside the river.

Very helpfull with are wrong reservation

The area was close to everything we wanted to do. The Bath house was very clean and the view was great. The only issue was the traffic noise. Bring something to drown it out if you are a light sleeper.

The campground is clean and safe, including the bath house. Location- pro, it’s right off the highway so easy to get to. I love how close it is to the River Arts District. It’s nice to be right on the French Broad River. Love that the greenway goes right through the site. Con- it’s right off the highway so very loud. I was in a popup, probably not as big of a deal for sleeping anyway in a motor home. Wasn’t much fun trying to do camping things like cook outside or sit around a campfire. Only 1 tenter did it one night out of the 4 nights I was there. So it’s a good place to stay to visit cool places in Asheville. But you don’t really camp there, you just park there. I really did appreciate how clean and well kept everything was!
